    Founded in 2023 as a small medical practice in Shively, Kentucky, Lux Behavioral Health LLC was created to address the growing need for accessible, high-quality mental health services in our community. The name Lux, meaning "light," reflects our mission to provide hope, guidance, and support to individuals on their journey toward healing and recovery.

    Today, we offer integrated behavioral health programs designed to promote mental wellness and improve quality of life. Through our trauma-informed approach, we provide compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care that empowers individuals to build resilience and achieve lasting well-being.

     AODE stands for Alcohol and Other Drug Entity, a Kentucky-licensed treatment provider that offers services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. AODE programs may provide outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient services, case management, recovery support, and counseling. 

    We provide:

     We accept most major insurance plans and Medicaid. Our staff can verify your benefits before your first appointment. 

    Many people need multiple recovery attempts before achieving long-term sobriety. Previous treatment does not mean failure. We focus on helping you build a sustainable recovery plan. 

    Treatment length varies based on individual needs. Some clients benefit from short-term counseling, while others participate in ongoing recovery support for several months or longer.
